About Kingster

What was your first car and what was special about it?

A 1976 GMC Sierra pickup that my dad bought me when I was 14. I still have it to this day. It’s something I just don’t want to sell. I want to fix it up one day but it’s in a million pieces at the moment.

What’s in your toolbox that isn’t a tool?

Nothing… I don’t believe there’s anything.

Best/Worst thing about brand new cars?

The best thing is the safety and the cool features that you get with new cars. They can basically drive themselves now. That’s really cool, I think. The worst thing, a lot of problems that are expensive to fix.

Any secret talents in or out of the garage?

I can ride a unicycle!

Why are people attracted to old cars? You personally?

I think it has a lot to do with sentimental reasons. I’m still young but for older people they bring back memories. You know you just don’t see too many anymore so there is a cool factor to them.

Final thoughts?

I’ve always tried to work as hard as I can. I try to be good with everyone I work with and everyone I meet. You don’t want to burn bridges because you know never know what the future could bring or who you might meet down the road that could help get you to where you’re trying to go.
